You took me into your arms when I was only weeks old.

You cared for me.

You comfort me.

You were the mother i know and would have come to know throughout my life.

You sheltered me from harm; you who kept me warm.

You; whose looks and beauty I took. That's why its so hard for me to grasp the thought that you are gone from me.

Every night i woke up, and it's your face that I would see, as i saw you last, lying there on your bed, mobile, and helpless.

I still cannot face the thought that all will never be the same.

So, I will sing the songs we often sang together, and remember that "Sailor Boy" we had dreamt of together.

On the wings of a snow white dove, he sent his love sweet love; a sign from above, God sent his love.
